About The Program

The Alex Otti Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Programme is a Corporate Social Investment initiative established to promote educational development and human capacity building in Nigeria, with particular focus on Abia State.

The scholarship supports academically outstanding but financially disadvantaged Nigerian undergraduate students currently studying in government-owned tertiary institutions across the country. The foundation has been running this initiative for several years, consistently empowering indigent students to achieve their academic dreams.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants will receive:

Annual financial grant of up to N500,000 to cover tuition, accommodation, and living stipends
Support throughout the duration of their undergraduate programme (subject to maintaining required academic performance)
Previous editions have awarded N250,000–N500,000 per student depending on need assessment

Students from the following government-owned institutions are eligible:

Federal and State Universities
Polytechnics
Colleges of Education

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

Be in their second year (200 Level) at the time of application
Have gained admission into any government-owned tertiary institution in Nigeria
Possess a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale (or equivalent) in their first year
Be indigenes of Abia State or currently residing in Abia State
Demonstrate financial need (indigent students)
Not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship award
